ALTID President Burhan Sili stated that the occupancy rates of hotels will start with the holiday, and said that the 9-day holiday will be a lifeline for the sector.
Burhan Sili, President of Alanya Touristic Hoteliers Association (ALTID) and Member of the Board of Directors of Türkiye Hoteliers Federation (TÜROFED), stated that the extension of the Eid al-Adha holiday to 9 days is a positive decision both for the citizens to have a comfortable holiday and for the revival of the tourism market. Sili said, “The extension of the holiday is a great opportunity for the tourism sector. The occupancy rates of our hotels seem to start with the holiday period. We are also making our preparations to meet this demand and to welcome our domestic and foreign guests who come to our city in a good way, together with all our stakeholders.”
