The winners of the July 1st Maritime and Coastal Shipping Day Photo Contest, organized by ALTAV, have been announced.
Participants in Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation’s (ALTAV) contest uploaded their photos themed ‘Sea, People, and Alanya’, taken on the same day as part of the July 1st Maritime and Coastal Shipping Day celebrations. After the submission deadline, photos that met the contest criteria were compiled and evaluated by a jury consisting of Alanya Municipality Advisor Abdurrahman Acikalin, Port Captain Mehmet Sayhan, writer and photographer Hasim Yetkin, Alanya Journalists’ Association (AGC) President Gaye Coskun, and photographer Hakan Pinar from Zebra Agency.
5 PHOTOS AWARDED
Following the jury’s deliberations, 5 photos, taken by Huseyin Ozsoy, Nevsal Baykara, Saadet Onursal, Selman Korkmaz, and Tuna Aral, received equal scores and were deemed worthy of awards. Due to this tie, the jury decided to evenly distribute the total prize of 10,000 TL among the 5 artists, awarding each winning photograph’s owner 2,000 TL.
