In collaboration with Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) and Destination Services Travel Agency, Ozbek journalist Ruslan Saburov has embarked on a week-long program in Alanya. Representing one of Ozbekistan’s most influential newspapers and news portals, kun.uz, Ruslan Saburov will be extensively introduced to Alanya’s historical, touristic, and cultural values, as well as its economic potential, daily life, and entertainment scene. The program, prepared by ALTAV and Destination Services and supported throughout by Alanya Municipality, aims to provide Ruslan Saburov with a comprehensive understanding of the region.
“Direct Flights to Commence from Ozbekistan to Alanya”
Türkiye Tourism Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) and ALTAV Board Member Şükrü Cimrin made the following statement regarding the press trip:
“We recently hosted a meeting with Bayram İsmail, General Manager of Asialuxe, Ozbekistan’s largest tour operator, and Metin Girgin, Destination Services Manager for Asialuxe in Turkey, along with Oğuzhan Karatürk, Operation Coordinator of Alanya-Gazipaşa Airport (GZP). During this meeting, a roadmap was established to launch Asialuxe Ozbekistan-Gazipaşa flights.”
“Ozbekistan Market on the Rise”
Ozbekistan is a new and emerging market for Türkiye. With a population of 35 million, the number of outbound travelers and potential travelers is increasing day by day. Due to our shared history and culture, the Ozbek people have a great affinity towards Türkiye and Turks. Recently, diplomatic relations and cooperation between the two countries are at their best. In light of all these factors, we consider the Uzbekistan market to be of great importance.

ALTAV and Asialuxe have decided to jointly conduct a series of promotional activities to introduce Alanya to the Uzbek market for flights planned with Uzbekistan Airways, the national carrier of Asialuxe. As the first of these promotional activities, we will host Ruslan Saburov in Alanya for a week with a packed schedule.
In the second phase of these efforts, Asialuxe-Destination Services and ALTAV will collaborate to host a significant group of 14 influencers in Alanya.
As we all know, Alanya is a destination where the emphasis is not only on hotels but on the city itself and what it offers; the real product is Alanya. Therefore, effectively promoting and marketing the destination is crucial for the upcoming flights to achieve and maintain optimal occupancy.
